Blessed to be a Blessing

County Road near Bear Valley Campground, Tahoe National ForestSometimes God presents us with unexpected opportunties to do ministry.  A ministry can be as organic as offering a cup of trail coffee to a stranger–a stranger who seems to be searching for peace or guidance or a sign from God.  My husband and I met such a man last week while camping in the Tahoe National Forest on our way home from the Nevada desert.  The man, who didn’t remain a stranger for long, proved well-traveled, philosophical, self-effacing, keenly intelligent and a lively companion at our campfire.  We were blessed to be a blessing.
