I had no burning desire to leave the desert last month. On the morning that we were to depart, I was lying in bed, dreaming about coffee…I glanced out the window and spied clouds in the sky. The clouds were lined with pearl pink.
Realizing that the sun had not yet risen, I grabbed my camera and ran outside.
The fiery sunrise warmed me to the idea of going.
